Hatch-Ballet for Bouncing Balls (SP)-Basketballs/handball

Ballet for Bouncing Balls by Montgomery Hatch for percussion quintet. This piece was composed with the idea that rhythmic patterns can be seen as well as heard. This creative new work is literally comprised of the various sound effects of balls bouncing on the floor.

Instrumentation:
Player 1 - large basketball
Player 2 - small basketball
Player 3 - 2 handballs, 1 large basketball
Player 4 - small basketball
Player 5 - 2 hand balls, large basketball
