I use this bell plate often with my gongs. It plays well with my 10 and 12 inch accent Chau gongs. Can't beat the price. Wish y'all had other notes as well in this price range. Nice sound and sustain. Probably going to fabricate a different hanger to keep strings and knot off of the plate. Mine is 426.7Hz. Highly recommend. The staff here is extremely helpful as well.
This is a chrome-plated, 8 7/8" x 7 7/8" x 1/8" steel plate suspended 1/2" from the shorter edge. It's fundamental is approximately B-flat, a minor third below my old plate. It was made in Pakistan. The delivery to the MD suburbs of DC only took a few days.
This is a great sounding bell tone at a reasonable price. I'm in a Beatles tribute band. This is perfect for the fire bell clang on "Penny Lane" . This is well made, and the rope is strong. I recommend the Liberty One Wind Gong Adaptor (SW-WGA) to hang it from.

The purity of tone, and sustain, are remarkable. This would be great for recording, also musical theater!
