This tambourine, for it's price, is amazing. It doesn't gave the best sound, but it is good enough. This tambourine is good for having one to practice with, and the addition of wax and a free bag is great. I recommend this for any percussion student, or elementary/middle school band.
To save money I ordered the TDOV tambourine but was disappointed with the brass jingles and "hollowness" of the head sound - too dark for my tastes. Will not keep it and will have to spend a lot more to get the sound I'm looking for - bright but not thin and no hollow-ish sound when hitting the head.
very tight and responsive. It's perfect for big tambourine excerpts and can also add nice touches to ensemble playing. And it's affordable. I love it!
