Full Sonority Through Warmth and Sustain

The Black Swamp SoundArt 10” Double Row Tambourine – Beryllium Copper Jingles, Calf Head (TD4) offers a distinctive character that sets it apart from any other jingle in the SoundArt line. Hand-hammered beryllium copper jingles on a solid, steam-bent ash shell with a premium translucent calf head strike a rare balance, blending warmth and sustain into a full, complex sonority that rewards players who need something beyond the expected.

Dual-Depth Jingle Slots

The SoundArt’s dual-depth jingle slot design staggers jingle contact points, producing a fuller, more layered response across the entire dynamic range. Every jingle is hand-hammered and custom-fitted to the shell for consistent, expressive performance at any volume level.

I love this tambourine! I am not a percussionist. I am a HS Orchestra Director, with very particular tastes where percussion colors are involved. I bought this same instrument 5 years ago and it gave great service. I loaned it to one our band directors a year ago, and they split the head. I was so impressed by the sound and service of the original tambourine that I've purchased the exact same one as a replacement.

The Black Swamp 10" Double Row Copper Tambourine is of excellent quality. It seems extremely durable and has a great sound to it. Rolls sound seamless and articulate passages can be heard with minimum "head sound."
