Nearpass-Blume'n Cuban (SP)-Solo M/X/P

Blume'n Cuban by Jeffrey Nearpass for percussion ensemble. This piece has a solo marimba part but it is suggested that as many people play this part as possible.

Instrumentation:
Marimba, Bass, Congas, Bongos, Shekere, Timbales, African Cowbell, Amadinda Xylophone*, Low Conga (solo marimba, 7 percussionists)

*The Amadinda Xylophone is tuned to a pentatonic scale with a range of 2-1/2 octaves. The instrument has large bars which are played with a ½ inch dowel rod on the edge of the bar while seated. You may substitute a marimba for these parts if needed.
