Bobo-Flurries (SP)-V/C/Cro./2M/Handbells/P

Flurries was composed as a gift to composer Kevin Bobo's wife Emily for their 10th anniversary. The piece explores the many characteristics of snow throughout its eight sections. Flurries was premiered on July 4, 2009 in Valencia, Spain (which was their actual 10th anniversary).

Internationally acclaimed marimbist and percussionist, Kevin Bobo is currently serving as Associate Professor of Music (Percussion) at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
