Bobo-Nine Intermediate Studies for 4-Mallet Marimba-M

Nine Intermediate Studies for 4-Mallet Marimba is a collection of etudes designed to practically apply basic techniques learned by beginning marimba students ready to advance into medium difficult repertoire. The entire collection can fit onto a 4.3 octave (low A) marimba, keeping both the technical and musical demands appropriate to an intermediate level player. Both hands remain generally close together throughout the collection and intervals are kept small ranging from a minor second to a major sixth. The pieces can be performed as individual solos, combined into small sets, or played in their entirety.
