The Warriors is a mixed percussion quintet written to provide beginning percussion students with the fun of playing in an ensemble other that a band. Each part in not difficult, but creating the ensemble will be a challenge for young players.

Paul P. Brazauskas, a native of Chicago, received his bachelor's and master's degrees in music education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago. His professional memberships have included Kappa Kappa Psi, Illinois Congress of Parents and Teachers, Percussive Arts Society, Texas Bandmaster's Association and the National Association of Rudimental Drummers.
