Alarm! by Brian Blume was commissioned by the Center Grove High School Percussion Ensemble (Greenwood, IN) for the 2010 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, IL. Written for the middle school-level ensemble, Blume's Alarm! showcases a variety of skills including drags, dramatic dynamic contrasts, and rhythmic melodies split throughout the ensemble.
