Brostrom-Bridging the World (SP)-V/Cro./2M/P

Bridging the World by Tobias Brostrom for percussion trio. This piece was commissioned for the Rotary International's Centennial celebration and is based on J.S. Bach's Chaconne in D minor.

Instrumentation:

Percussion 1 - woodblock, suspended cymbal, tuned gong (c#1), 5-octave marimba

Percussion 2 - two woodblocks, tuned gong, 4.3-octave marimba

Percussion 3 - two woodblocks, tuned gong, crotales, vibraphone
