Brooks-Let the Big Dawg Eat (SP)-V/M/4T/P

This is a jazz combo/quintet piece written for percussion ensemble. The timpanist should function as a bass player, and lock into a tight groove with the drummer and percussion player. The vibes carries the lead line while the marimba functions basically as a comping instrument. The drum set and percussion players are featured soloists in the piece. Let them open up their solo sections and build them into a frenzy for maximum crowd pleasing effect. Make it exciting!
