Corrigan-Orbital Motion (SP)-4T/P

Orbital Motion by Bruce Corrigan is a reference to the movement of the sixteenth note pulse and its orbiting motion around the ensemble. The timpanist is the central figure, almost like a sun in a solar system. This planetary reference can be visual as well as aural and even offers opportunity for cross-discipline instruction.
