Burhans-Once in a Blue Moon (SP)-M/HP

Once In a Blue Moon by Caleb Burhans is a duet written for harp and five octave marimba. Burhans wrote this piece in 2009 for Duo Harpverk. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Burhans identifies himself as a composer, violinist/violist, singer, and multi-instrumentalist.

Duo Harpverk is a harp/percussion duo whose intention is to commission and perform music for harp and percussion. To date, they have commissioned over 40 pieces from composers in Iceland, Denmark, England, Australia, and the United States.
