Butov-24 Etudes for Marimba

According to composer Gennady Butov, 24 Etudes for Marimba is intended for the intermediate and advanced mallet player. The etudes are arranged by degree of difficulty, from the easiest to the most difficult. The majority of the etudes begin with the left hand, which is not by chance: most students are right-handed and, as a rule, their left hands are not as flexible and coordinated at the right. This book and it's design will help to elminate the "weak" left hand and help create a more balanced sound on the marimba.
