Description
Candrakala by Alain Louvier for percussion sextet. This piece is entirely built upon the Hindu rhythm "Candrahala" (Beauty of the Moon). The piece of an unreal and cosmic nature is almost entirely entrusted to the metallic percussion and should be submerged in a continuous resonance.

Player 1 - 2 triangles, sleigh bells, wood chimes, cowbell, vibraphone
Player 2 - 2 triangles, sleigh bells, glass chimes, cowbell, glockenspiel, suspended cymbal
Player 3 - 6 cowbells, marimba, vibraphone, crotales, tubular bells, suspended cymbal
Player 4 - 2 triangles, sleigh bells, crotales, cowbell, suspended cymbal
Player 5 - 6 Thai gongs (A, Bb, C#, D, E, A), 2 anvils, 2 pandeiras, glockenspiel, vibraphone, cowbell
Player 6 - 8 Thai gongs (E, F, F#, G, Bb, C, Eb, F), 2 anvils, 2 pandeiras, glockenspiel, cowbell, Chinese cymbal
