Celestial Elements 2: Wind by Michael Varner for snare drum and percussion ensemble. This movement reflects the sound color aspects of the snare drum.

Soloist - snare drum
Player 1 - bells, machine castanets, wine goblet, medium suspended cymbal
Player 2 - low gong, high gong, marching machine
Player 3 - chimes, 2 woodblocks, guiro, high suspended cymbal
Player 4 - marimba, crash cymbals, 3 flower pots, metal wind chime
Player 5 - vibraphone, claves, thunder sheet, wine goblet
Player 6 - four tom toms, low suspended cymbal, bass drum
Player 7 - four timpani, maracas
