Chan-Open (SP)-P/opt. recording

OPEN for Percussion Trio by Alan Chan is an adaptation of music written for a theater production called "Open". Instrumentation: Percussion 1 – 4 tom-toms, kick drum, bamboo wind chimes, 2 drum sticks. Percussion 2 – 2 cowbells, 5 temple blocks, 2 snare drum sticks, 2 medium hard mallets. Percussion 3 – 1 conga, 1 tam-tam, 1 bass drum, 2 drum sticks, 1 tam-tam beater. Tape (optional) – prepare a recording of computer keyboard typing, about 2 minutes, for playback at the last section of the piece. A person would be needed to control the playback device.
