This legato, trance like piece will be a great performance vehicle to highlight the two mallet roll technique of a young player. Chant can be a practical diversion from the technical doldrums of the early stages of mallet percussion.

No matter your skill level, Chant by Mitchell Peters is a gorgeous piece! It is a good workout for the beginner and not very intimidating. The music can be a little tricky to read at first, lots of ties, but worth it!

    Wow!

Amazing. It shows you that music doesn't need to be fast for it to be enjoyable.
