Description
Circus by Stanley Leonard for percussion quintet. This piece depicts the sounds and atmosphere of a circus, with its color, excitement, and vitality. The following commentaries are given to help the performer and listener understand how the sounds and rhythms of the music attempt to capture the feeling of a circus. There are six movements in this piece: Introduction, Trapeze, Lion Tamer, Cannonball, Monkey Cage, and Finale.

Player 4 - Bass Drum, Two Tom-toms, Three Temple Blocks, Suspended Cymbal, Bass Drum
Player 5 - Three Timpani, Bass Drum
