Description
Concerto for Marimba, Percussion, and Synthesizers by Daniel McCarthy. This virtuosic three-movement work is a first rate piece of music that was written for Michael Burritt. The solo part is extremely challenging. The electronics weave in and out of the solo and ensemble texture, sometimes providing a nice sustained, choral backdrop, sometimes providing an in-your-face back beat.
