Copland-Hoe-Down from Rodeo arr. Doute (SP)-Solo X/4M or PN

Hoe-Down is a movement from the ballet Rodeo often programmed in concert halls around the world. In my arrangement I have given the opportunity for the percussionists to be featured in this challenging solo with marimba band or piano accompaniment.

Performance Options

• Option 1: Xylophone, Marimba 1/Marimba 2 (one 4 octave needed), Marimba 3/Marimba 4 (one 5 octave needed)
• Option 2: Xylophone, Piano
• Number of players: 2 or 5
• Difficulty: Intermediate
