The Creative Percussion Clap Stax are made from our extra thin steel, which is heat-treated to give you our signature Creative Percussion look and sound.

Each layer is hand-hammered in a circular pattern. This allows for space between each of the layers giving you a louder, less-dry clap sound.

  • Gig Clap gives you a more standard type of clap sound and has 4 layers, 9”, 11”, 13”, 15”

I bought one of these for a set up that has a lot of acoustic percussion effects that sound like they are digital. They work great and sound a little louder than the Steve Weiss house brand (which I also bought). I can also use the cymbals individually as rattling effects on drum heads and such.
