Description
Dance of the Tumblers from opera The Snow Maiden by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov arranged for 13 member percussion ensemble by Lewis Norfleet. This playful, lively, and fast paced arrangement requires medium-to-advanced players. The mallet parts are designed to be played with two mallets throughout. This piece comes with a full score and includes a CD-Rom containing an audio recording and all individual parts available for printing. Duration: 3 minutes

2 Vibraphones
4 Marimbas (two 4.3 octave marimbas + two 4 octave marimbas)
Timpani (4 drums)
Percussion 1: snare drum, small and large crash cymbals
Percussion 2: bass drum
Percussion 3: triangle (light and heavy beaters), crash cymbals, gong, tambourine
*Note for larger ensembles:* If there is a fifth marimba available, the marimba 4 part may be doubled. If there is a third vibraphone available, the vibraphone 2 part may be doubled.
