Piltzecker-Dancing Past Eleven (SP)-B/2V/M/P/VN/PN

Dancing Past Eleven by Ted Piltzecker is a percussion ensemble piece written for 6 players plus violin and piano. The title is a play on words representing both when parties start getting fun and "getting past" the challenge of odd meters. Originally written to feature the Bulgarian instrument gadulka, the piece works beautifully with a violin, clarinet, or soprano sax soloist as well (parts included). Duration: 9'30"
