Dao-Tay-Son-C/2T/P

Tay-Son is a large multi-percussion setup piece composed in 1984 by Nguyen Thien Dao, a former student of Messiaen. It begins with a meticulously notated section that soon gives way to a more fluid section featuring ocean drum and wind machine. Another carefully composed section then ensues, followed by a longer section consisting only of note heads which concludes the work.
