Description
Luna, Luna was inspired by the poem Romance de la luna, luna (“Ballad of the Moon”) by Federico García Lorca. It is a dark poem filled with colorful mystical imagery of youthful innocence, a lunar temptress, and mournful gypsies. The piece is a cousin to my piece The Cry, which is also based on a Lorca poem set in Spain.
