Sea of Tranquility by Nathan Daughtrey was originally for bells & vibraphone in this collection of duets for young percussionists, DUOLOGY, Sea of Tranquility has been expanded for full percussion ensemble for C. Alan's IGNITE SERIES. Much like the area of the same name found on the moon, this piece seeks to create an air of mystery and wonder.

Player 1: Glockenspiel
Player 2: Vibraphone (or glockenspiel)
Player 3: Marimba 1 (optional)
Player 4: Marimba 2 (optional)
Player 5: 2 timpani
Player 6: Triangle, rainstick (or maracas), claves (or woodblock)
Player 7: Suspended cymbal, wind chimes, 2 congas ( or toms)
Players 8-9: (optional) Shaker (or maracas), bass drum (or floor/low tom)
