A Different Drummer is Dave Hollinden's latest work for percusson soloist. The work requires 2 tom-toms (with matching coated heads) and 1 large cymbal. Hollinden notates very unique playing techniques that create very distinct sounds from the drums. At 24 minutes in length, this piece is a workout but is absolutely worthy of the time!
