Very challenging solo, stickings are all written in, beautiful transcription shows off the range of any 5-octave marimba, can't wait to perform this one.
Description
Claude Debussy's beautiful and flowing "Arabesque I" masterfully arranged for solo marimba by Naoko Takada. This piece sounds as if the original work was written for marimba! A great study of classical literature for solo marimba. This would be ideal to include as a classical work on a recital or jury!

Such a beautiful piece of music from Debussy's early years. Sounds great on marimba. Also, one of the hardest pieces I've tried to learn. At least a 5.

I was first turned on to this arrangement by catching it on youtube. You can find a vid of Naoko playing it herself. I'm very familiar with the piano piece and I could swear she left not a single note out the transcription. So I got the music, and it's a joy to play. Fantastic!
