Di Bartolo-Drunken General, The-SD

The Drunken General is my version of a military snare solo. It has a simple ABA form and weighted groove. I noticed, though, a wooziness - or drunkeness - while playing this piece due to the way I manipulated the rhythms so that is how it got its name. Written for a Black Swamp 7x14 titanium elite drum with Multisonic snare system. Commissioned by Black Swamp Percussion.
