Dittgen-Cowabunga Rock (SP)B/V/2M/DS/P

A nod to Surf Music made popular throughout Hawaii and southern California in the 1960s, Cowabunga Rock by Brandon Dittgen is written for 6 percussionists. This work provides developing performers the opportunity to play mallets and drums alike.

• Instrumentation:
• Player 1: Vibraslap, glockenspiel, tambourine
• Player 2: Vibraphone, floor tom
• Player 3: Marimba (4 octave), snare drum
• Player 4: Marimba (4.3 octave)
• Player 5: Bongos
• Player 6: Drum set (optional)

Players 3 & 4 can share a single 4 octave marimba
