The Dragonfly medium hard mallets have a very wide dynamic range, and they sound great. The stick is a little too flexible for my taste, but I really love the sound.

The Most Versatile of Dragonfly's Marimba Mallet Series is the Medium Hard Mallet. This Mallet feels and sounds great across the entire five octaves of a marimba. Being lighter than its softer counterparts it provides great maneuverability. Functions great in more than one roll in a graduated set.
