I play jazz, for my own enjoyment, mostly. I was looking for a hi-hat set that had a clean-and-sharp "chick" sound, plus a not-too-loud range of other hi-hat sounds. This set does WHATEVER I ask. It's pure pleasure to play. I keep discovering new sounds, the more I play it. I've only had it a while, but already, I know it will be with me for the rest of my days. This beautiful instrument is MAGICAL. I also have other Dream Bliss cymbals. I'm adding to my collection of Dream cymbals all the time. It's fun and exciting, finding the perfect cymbal for the music and the setup I'm creating. Now, I'm wondering how a 13" set of Bliss hats would play? Hmmm Only thing (and this has NOTHING to do with Dream and this cymbal): I love using Steve Weiss music as a key supplier. BUT, I hope they will soon GET RID OF THE STYROFOAM PACKING BLOBS. Nasty! Steve, please, give the earth a break and use something else. So many better choices are available. j i m
