DW 9000X Series 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand

The DW DWCP9500TX 9000X Series 2-Leg Hi-Hat Stand is part of Drum Workshop’s (DW) newest flagship hardware line. Building upon the legendary foundation of the original 9000 series, the 9000X lineup was reimagined to offer drummers more responsive feel, faster setup times, and better adjustability. The 2-leg design specifically makes it ideal for players who use double bass drum pedals, as it frees up floor space to position your pedals more comfortably.

One of the most innovative features of the stand is the Negative Spring System. Traditional hi-hat stands have a fixed stopping point when the hi-hat is fully open. The Negative Spring System removes that hard stop, allowing the top cymbal to "float" freely. This makes the cymbals more active, responsive, and gives you incredible control over your open hi-hat sounds and heel splashes. The stand also features DW’s patented Triple Eccentric Cam system, which is designed to provide accelerated top-cymbal control, effortless action, and highly pronounced hi-hat "chicks."
