The DW DWCP9500XFX 9000X Series 3-Leg Hi-Hat Stand with Extended Footboard is DW's most advanced hi-hat stand and part of the flagship 9000X hardware line. The extended footboard is the defining feature of the XFX model, offering more surface area and a different feel underfoot than the standard version, which matters for players who want more control over heel-down playing, splashing, and foot technique nuance. The patented Triple Eccentric Cam provides increased sensitivity and footboard angle adjustment to match other pedals in a multi-pedal setup, while the first-of-its-kind Negative Spring System eliminates the hard stop at the top of the hi-hat's vertical range, allowing the top cymbal to float and continue resonating when fully open.

The Quick Change hi-hat rod installs in seconds without threading, and both 15" and 21" rods are included. The vise clamp clutch with Techlock keeps the top cymbal tension locked in with an incremental adjustment system and locking screw. The incremental cymbal seat angle adjustment for the bottom hat adds another layer of sound control. \\. Optional DW MOD Tripod Counterweights are available separately for additional stability in demanding performance situations.
