The Dynasty Elite Series 5.0 Octave Rosewood Marimba combines the elegant sound and look of concert marimbas with the durability and reliability of front ensemble field marimbas. Additionally electronic elements have been added to the frame to create a ground breaking instrument.

The Honduran Rosewood bars are handpicked and hand tuned to produce a rich, warm tone with outstanding projection and articulation. Solid ash rails and end pieces are expertly crafted creating a look suited for the concert hall. Ash also prevents sagging to increase the life of the instrument.

The Titan E-Frame offers safe and simple height adjustment with the touch of a finger or hands-free with the app via Bluetooth. With four programmable presets this instrument can be shared by multiple plyers with un-noticeable height adjustments.

This was at PASIC (2021). The new resonator design relies on box tubes in the lower end. They likely went this direction (like Adams, Bergerault) to save shop time. Curved tubes are a lot of skilled labor. You need to play to judge the difference in sound between the round and box resonators (transition). Hopefully, the tuning mechanism on the box tubes is better than the lousy flaps on Adams. I don't play the Bergerault's because of the poor design and sound. The e-frame is worth it for a school, not for personal use because of cost. I tried to play this at PASIC but every time I stopped at the booth, high school kids were banging on marching snares 2 feet away.
