I bought this item because I heard it's really good. Well, that was wrong. This snare doesn't hold tuning nearly as good as my Pearl and the shell is already aged and dried up within the year I have owned it. Do yourself some good and go with a Pearl FFX.

Excellent

I had a pearl FFX for several years and just recently sold it to purchase my new dynasty marching snare. This drum instantly sounds amazing, hardly any tuning needs, the pearl took forever to tune while the dynasty almost tunes itself. I love this drum and would recommend it to anyone

I have played many snares and i always thought the drum didn't matter. Only the head did. THAT'S A LIE!!! The dynasty marching percussion instruments are amazing and definitely worth the money.
