Earthtone Drumheads Mounted Calfskin Bass Drumhead - 20"

Earthtone bass drumheads, crafted from genuine calfskin, deliver rich, deep low tones ideal for both recording and live performances. Unlike traditional vintage calfskin heads, Earthtone's innovative design features an aluminum hoop, ensuring straightforward installation. The calfskin is meticulously tanned and treated to minimize tuning fluctuations, providing stability once the head settles. Once adjusted, it requires tuning comparable to a standard Mylar head.

These bass drumheads feature an inside dimension that matches their size plus an additional 1/8 inch, with a thickness ranging from 17 to 27 mils. They are equipped with a traditional bass drum hoop for secure mounting. While Earthtone's 18-inch heads are commonly used for toms, they can also be adapted for bass drums with a slightly larger hoop, offering versatility in application.
