Kaiser-Eastern Oriental Express (SP)-P/DS

Eastern Oriental Express by Leander Kaiser for percussion quartet. The Eastern Oriental Express goes from Bangkok to Singapore. This composition depicts some of the fantastic impressions you might get while traveling with the luxury train through the Caoutchouc Plantations of Malaysia, the terrace-shaped farms of Thailand, or some other beautiful landscapes of Southeast Asia.

Instrumentation:
Percussion 1 - 4 woodblocks, 2 cowbells, tam-tam
Percussion 2 - 2 timbales, tam-tam
Percussion 3 - 4 roto-toms, spokes of toms or timpani bowls, crash cymbal
Percussion 4 - drum set
