Elvert-Mountain Dances (SP)-2V

Before any notes for his piece Mountain Dances were laid, composer Ryan Elvert was given the mental image of a window, in the back of a Colorado coffee house, that supplied a breath taking view of the Front Range mountains. From that image he constructed a piece that takes the listener on a climb to the summit of the mountains, where one can take view of the vast beauty that rests there.
