Very satisfactory mallets

The Medium 24ALB mallets have a very good sound and are very satisfactory from C2-C5. The sound is full and round with greater distinction than a comparably weighted yarn-wrapped mallet. Exactly what I was looking for in a latex-wrapped mallet. Very easy to pull out the full fundamental tone of the bar.

Go with rattan

I like the sound the sound of latex mallets, but the birch handles break easily (especially in a school setting). Go with more durable rattan handles!

This whole series is worth purchasing. The encore line of latex mallets is a great addition because of the options that they allow for different playing. Not only can you play them with the latex but you can always wrap them and recieve a second tone that can be reused for a long time.
