This book of mostly triplet-oriented exercises is appropriate for beginners and more advanced drummers. The lessons advance in complexity and provide a solid basis for exploring and developing the 6/8 African feel on the full drumset. Many of the exercises would serve as "grooves" for ensemble work. As a decades-long, working drummer, I am finding the lessons engaging. They are adding to my knowledge and skills.
