The pheasant call arrived in pristine packaging but I couldn't figure out which sounds the call was intended to make. I emailed the manufacturer and they sent me the directions but wouldn't tell me if it was suppose to imitate a cackle or other call. I have several other pheasant calls (primos, Lohmans, Haydel's) that produce more desired sounds and tell me what those sounds should be. I ended up emailing the manufacturer back and asked them to please explain what sound I should be getting and that it was a new product only days old and they suggested if I was having problems to call their customer service and pay for a shipping return so they could check it out. As we speak the call sits on a shelf in its original packaging as it is of no use to me. The only upside to the call is the quality of expertise used to turn the wood of the call. It has a very fine finish but now it's only a paperweight.
