    A Wonderful Piece with a Modern Twist

    I have had several students perform this work for Juries and Recitals. One of my more advanced High School Students had great results at state this past semester. It tends to apeal to students because of its (for lack of a better word) groovy approach to classic timpani playing. It has "stride" according to my daughter Melissa who just performed it at the Missouri MMEA convention, and the reason I'm writing this review. Thanks for the recommendation from Drop 6.
