Koss-First Suite for Percussion (SP)-BV/C/3M/4T/P

First Suite for Percussion by Zachary Koss. This piece is composed in three movements representing different types of musical techniques. "Indonesian Dreams" depicts a dreamy feel along with some pitch collections related to music of Indonesia. The first movement involves different chords and pitch patterns throughout the movement in the mallet parts along with a few unique sounds in the other percussion parts. "Fall In" represents someone falling into something, and then eventually returning back. This movement uses a different set of musical techniques, along with a more heavy influence on the drums and unpitched percussion. "Lightroom" depicts a fairly quiet and flowing beginning and ending with some challenging meters in the middle section. The different sounds from the instruments used in this movement represent a room with a special light, possibly in a scary movie, or just as a background for being in a room with special lighting, or lamps.
