Fitzgibbon-Jumbie (SP)-Steel band

In Trinidad, those musicians who devotes themselves to the practice and performance of the steel drums are said to be “pan-jumbies.” This African derived word refers to the spirit of this music that captivates listeners and drives musicians to the point of obsession. Jumbie is inspired by the infectious spirit of this incredible musical tradition.
