Wiener-Futurity-M

Futurity by Ruud Wiener is a five mallet solo scored for 4.3 octave marimba. This piece has two main musical sections and an introduction in this five-minute solo. There are three basic sticking patterns used throughout this piece. Once the performer understands the basic syncopations involved, the same rhythms are repeated through each entire section.
