On the way through the hall, the corridor, the play passage of this museum, of this collection, of this "gallery" of 25 different kinds, altogether 64 percussion instruments, one paces through 12 rooms *episodes), displaying 38 different pictures, structures, forms, blending into the final result is what first planned: One piece. A piece of percussion gallery. A "gallery" for percussion.
The 64 percussion instruments used int his piece:
4 small drums, 3 bongos, 2 congas, 2 timbales creoles, 2 tomtoms, 1 big drum.
5 temple blocks, 4 wooden drums, 2 wooden tomtoms, 1 wooden slotted drum, 2 xylophone mallets, 1 pair of claves, 1 guiro, 1 cabasa.
6 cymbals, 2 rivet cymbals, 2 gongs, 1 tamtam, 3 cowbells, 2 hihat, 1 set of chimes, 4 car-brake drums, 1 crotale, 8 flexatone, 4 sandblocks.
