Description

The Gibraltar 9608SFT "Softy" Drum Thrones features a 5" thick extra soft foam seat for maximum comfort. The softy drum throne allows for hours of playing without the discomfort of traditional drum thrones. An outer layer of plush courdura fabric adds to the comfort of the sitting surface.

The drum throne base features a die cast spindle style seat adjustment and double braced legs. The Gibraltar Super Foot adds to the stability of the tripod.

Love this throne. Huge upgrade from my old Ludwig. "Softy" is a little misleading, I was a little apprehensive, but this thing has great support, the cushion is actually pretty firm. I played a 3 hour session with it right away, and I am 6', 210lb, and it was perfect.

This is definitely the best drum throne that I have ever sat on or owned and I have been sitting on these things since 1964. I like this throne way more than the "Roc n' Soc" throne. This throne weighs almost 20lbs. and is quality built for comfort. The "Clydsdale Style" rubber feet are awesome giving great support. This is probably the last throne that I will ever have to purchase.
