Product will not hold Sure Beta52 kick mic in place. Once the mic is on the gooseneck it flops over.

The Gibraltar Bass Drum Hoop Mic Mount allows for the mounting of a microphone to a bass drum hoop. a great way to be prepared to mic your bass drum anytime without carrying a stand. I just keep it in my ahead sled pocket with hi-hat top. Used it at outdoor festival and worked great !..highly recommend

This type of item is rare to find, but this is a well-made/designed one. It's sometimes exactly the thing you need for certain applications and makes your mic positioning options more versatile while not making a footprint on your drum rug. It doesn't rattle (so long as the gooseneck is well-tightened), and it doesn't hurt the rims of my vintage bass drums. Good deal.
